Frequently asked
Which iPhones support dual-camera modes?
Simultaneous dual-camera capture needs multicam-capable hardware — iPhone XS or newer, with recent models recommended for the highest quality tiers. Single-Lens mode (both aspects from one camera) works on a wider range of devices. Crosscut shows honest per-device capability so there are no mid-shoot surprises.
How do I get my footage into Final Cut Pro?
Export the Editor Bundle and AirDrop it to your Mac. Open the included project.fcpxml in Final Cut Pro 10.6+ — it imports as a synced multicam clip with your markers already on the timeline.
Does Crosscut work with DaVinci Resolve?
Yes. Every file carries identical embedded timecode, so Resolve can sync your angles by timecode. Markers export as CSV/EDL.
Where are my recordings stored?
On your device only, inside the app's own storage (visible in the Files app). Nothing is uploaded anywhere. See the Privacy Policy for details.
What does it cost?
Crosscut is a paid app — one price up front, every feature included, no subscription. See the App Store listing for current pricing.
Still stuck?
